Architecture and interior design practice, Zulufish has transformed a typical three-bed end-of-terrace in London into a five-bedroom space. This light-filled contemporary house, perfect for family living, features skinflint’s reclaimed industrial pendant lights above the kitchen island.
The brief was to create a unique bespoke interior for a design-led family home with masculine, urban and industrial feel, yet still comfortable and durable. In this house, the bolder the better is certainly the case.
Entering the house via a panelled hallway, you are led through into the open-plan kitchen living area designed by HUX-London - the feature blue paneling helps to create a visual flow throughout the house. The striking colour scheme together with surprising vintage touches keeps the scheme looking completely unique.
A multi-colour herringbone floor and industrial lighting by us at skinflint complete the look. These particular prismatic industrial pendant lights are from the 1950s and were salvaged from locations in former Czechoslovakia.
