A true statement piece salvaged from a French hospital. Having undergone lengthy refurbishment, this large 1950s overhead surgical light retains its original features including glass lenses, reflectors and arm articulation allowing the light to be angled where needed.

This variety is reflected in the styles of lights we salvage and restore - from the decorative Art Nouveau and Art Deco to the classic harder edged, clean-lined industrial aesthetic.

Restoration

The restoration process our vintage lighting goes through can often take many months. On this particular piece, the main light housing of steel construction was soda blasted to remove its degraded surface of medical paint and then sealed again through powder coating. All of the original glass lenses and reflectors have been meticulously restored and retained, while the main arm bracket allows the light to be angled providing focus as desired.

Supplied test and rewired with 9no. new screw (E27) lamp holders, 2mtrs of suspension chain, elephant grey braided cable and ceiling mounting plate. If you would prefer another colour cable, please just ask.
