Origin: Czechoslovakia (former)

Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

Restoration

The lights Czech heritage is emphasised by the original manufacturer's plaque, and is fitted with a new etched glass screen which creates an even glow and distribution of light when lit. The theatre light can be angled and locked in position on the bracket, which is mounted to a brushed and lacquered steel telescopic stand dated 1967. (Maximum height: 2300mm | Minimum height: 1400mm)

The light is supplied tested and rewired with a new screw (E27) lamp holder, 3 meters olive green braided cable, inline foot switch and a plug.
