Featuring the original spotted cut-glass globe, now sensitively restored ready for their next chapter with a brass Bakelite gallery. Great for creating drama in entrance ways, lounges and above kitchen islands.

Origin: Czechoslovakia (former)

Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

Restoration

The restoration process our vintage lighting goes through can take many months. First, we gently disassemble each light fitting allowing us to spot any flaws and plan how best to bring it up to modern electrical standards. Our team of experts then patiently restore each component by hand. The finished result is a meticulously restored vintage light that is ready for use for decades more to come.

Each light is supplied with a new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2 mtrs of brass braided cable and ceiling mounting plate. If you would prefer another colour cable, please just ask.
