A large run of decommissioned Czechoslovakian Army field lamps. Spun aluminium shade with the original worn factory finish. Converted to include a stanchion and mounting plate.

Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

Restoration

These lights have lockable rotation at the mounting plate and lateral adjustment from the shade, which allows them to be angled to illuminate a wall or object.Every one of our lights goes through a variety of processes to bring it from the worn and often dilapidated state it arrives in, to a stage where it is ready for your home. From stripping down and rewiring, to applying a finish and sealing the light preventing further degradation to the surface.
