Vintage restaurant lighting at Equal Parts
Equal Parts is a vibe. Pioneered by the dream team behind East London’s Sager + Wilde, Equal Parts is the trendy new aperitivo bar that’s built quite the following across the UK, just like its older sister.
Hard to miss with its green tiled exterior on Hackney Road, the team mix analog drinks and analog sounds, bringing basics back onto the scene.
Expect record players, vinyls and eclectic playlists alongside even better cocktails, as well as an array of skinflint vintage lights. You’ll spot our Retro Czech ceiling lights dotted around the bar and above tables as well as our Vintage Czech opaline lights. And the whole venue is an ode to vintage; its aesthetic is inspired by Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks.
Michael Sager, the brains behind the venture describes a desire to unearth Europe’s love of aperitifs, amaro and bitters, aiming to bring simple ‘equal parts’ cocktails into the mix - think Negronis, Sbagliatos and Americanos - shaken to perfection!
