Asylum wall lights (V2)

Era: 1950s

Stunning 1950s wall mounted reading lights salvaged from a Victorian lunatic asylum in the Midlands, UK. The lights have been refurbished and reassembled by hand, with a polished aluminium shade and wall plate, and a lacquered steel arm. 

 

Restoration

We've retained the original internal paint finish to the shade, emphasising the originality of the lights. The shade can be rotated 360deg at the knuckle joint with an additional 180deg rotation of the arm at the wall plate.

The lights are supplied tested and rewired with new bayonet (B22) lamp holder with integral switch.
