Period lighting. Circa 1960 (M)Era: 1960s Origin: Hungary
Elegant Hungarian period lighting. Elegant medium opaline glass globes with new chrome plated galleries.
We salvage high volumes of industrial and decorative lighting from this landlocked former Eastern Bloc country. Hungarian industrial enamel shades are often available in blue or white, whereas the decorative glassware has more of a clean line and timeless design. In the mid to late 20th century, the Communist east produced a wide variety of lights for both industrial, commercial and residential applications often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage.View all lights from Hungary

I am so delighted to have found this website - beautiful original lights that are reasonably priced! I was not disappointed when my two pendants arrived. The service was quick and efficient. The lights are amazing. I can't wait to get them up in our new kitchen over the island.

Great light. It looks very smart. I was initially worried that it might be slightly big for the room (we don't have high ceilings) but it looks great and I am really pleased with it.
