Striking pendant lights salvaged from a civic building in Prague in former Czechoslovakia. The open-bottomed glass shade has prismatic detailing to the inside and a retro 1960s moulded design to the outer. Eye-catching feature pendants that can be suspended singularly, in rows or clusters, to add elegance to your space.
Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

The work we do at skinflint is based on respecting and preserving the heritage of each piece. These pendants are a classic retro Czech style with a delicate moulded glass design. Now each light has been meticulously restored by our experts ready for modern-day use.
Each light is supplied with a new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2mtrs of brass braided cable and a ceiling suspension plate. (If you would prefer another colour cable please just ask).
