About the LED lamps
This product is fitted with the latest in energy-saving technology. The two LED lamps - with an average life of 50,000 hours - are non-dimmable, and sit within an etched diffusion sleeve to prevent glare and create an even distribution of warm light (3000K) when illuminated.
What’s the difference in brightness between a LED bulb, a fluorescent bulb, and a traditional 60w filament bulb?
In simple terms, bulb brightness is measured in lumens. Lumens (denoted by lm) are a measure of the total amount of visible light (to the human eye) from a bulb or light source. As a comparison: one of these LED bulbs is 1025lm; a fluorescent bulb of the same length is 1820lm, and a traditional 60w filament bulb is 800lm.
