Striking Czech pendant lights salvaged from a civic building in Prague - part of a wider haul reclaimed from a retro chandelier, with varying designs and sizes. The open-bottomed glass shade has prismatic detailing to the inside and a retro 1960s geometric moulded design to the outer. Suspend asymmetrically in pairs or clusters to create a real statement piece.
Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

Now each light has been meticulously restored by our experts ready for modern-day use.
Each light is supplied with a new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2mtrs of stainless steel braided cable and a ceiling suspension plate. (If you would prefer another colour cable please just ask).
