If you need to return a light
At Skinflint, we work hard to describe every light accurately, and ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. But occasionally, when a light arrives, it’s just not quite right for you. That’s why we give you the opportunity to send it back. Here’s how that works.
How to send a light back
When your light arrives, you have 14 days to tell us if you’d like to return it.
All you need to do is repackage it safely – ideally in the box and bubble wrap it arrived in – and fill out the returns form. (If you’ve lost the form please print out a cancellation form)
Remember, we’ve worked hard to refurbish your light, and it might be one of a kind, so please take care with packing, and if possible use a professional courier to return it. We can’t take responsibility if a light’s damaged on its way back to us, so please make sure your courier will insure the package, too.
If your light is damaged on its way to you
Importantly, if your light was already damaged when it was delivered to you, we need to know straight away. Please email us at email@example.com within 24 hours of receiving it. We’ll arrange for it to be collected from you.
When we receive the damaged item, we’ll examine it and send you a replacement straight away. If we don’t have another one, we’ll contact you to arrange a suitable alternative or refund.
How refunds work
If you need a refund, we will use your original payment method, unless you ask us for something different.
You will usually receive your refund within a week, and always within a fortnight.
