Plain English Vintage Kitchen Lighting
One of our favourite skinflint projects, this considered interior was designed and installed by Plain English who pride themselves in beautifully crafted cabinetry. It features cupboards from their Osea and Spitalfields range.
The 1920s Holophane pendants suspended above the island were salvaged from a Victorian London library where they were discovered sealed behind a 1960s suspended ceiling. With their original finished waxed and sealed by the skinflint team, the raw appearance of the lights makes them a real feature of this residential kitchen and perfectly complements the classic materials of the design.
