Clayworks is leading the way in sustainable design and natural building construction, manufacturing unique blends of natural clay plaster for architectural and interior design practices around the globe. Now considered an industry expert in environmentally friendly architecture and the design of healthy environments, we are pleased to have two of our vintage industrial pendant lights installed in their newly renovated workshop and showroom in South West Cornwall.
The business has grown and evolved organically over time with a large percentage of Clayworks clay plaster systems now produced for the interior design trade, including Aesop who we’ve also collaborated with.
skinflint’s restored vintage lighting features both in Clayworks main ground floor showroom space and their first floor sample area. One of our large industrial pendant lights salvaged from Hungary can be seen suspended from the double-height showroom space providing illumination for the workbench below and a statement feature within the wider space. Meanwhile upstairs, one of our vintage angled enamelled substation pendants by Benjamin has been utilised on the angled ceiling to illuminate the room.
