Oxidised pendant lights by Maxlume

Luminaire Reference: 15_2365

Unusual flameproof pendant lights by Maxlume circa 1950. Originally designed to withstand methane, petroleum and acetone vapours. Oxidised and sealed two part steel enclosure with manufactures marks and detailing, original glass well and vitreous enamelled steel reflector. Small amounts of localised wear to the enamel emphasises the age of the product.

Supplied with new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2mtrs of industrial black steel suspension chain, elephant grey braided cable and ceiling mounting plate.

As with all our products, should you require a different colour cable just let us know.

Oxide Range

The Oxide range of products features steel or iron enclosures that have been individually oxidised to create an interesting array of rich surface patinas. The enclosures are then sealed through a unique preservation technique to prevent further ageing.
