Opaline period lighting (Type 1M)

Luminaire Reference: 14_2063

Opaline globes with porcelain and cast iron galleries salvaged from a glassworks in Hungary. 

The shades were produced at Tokod, a small village north from Budapest, close to the Danube and the Hungarian-Slovakian border. The plant started production in 1892 and produced its elegant glasswear throughout the 20th Century.

Each light is supplied with a screw (E27) lamp holder, 2mtrs of suspension chain, traditional silver braided cable and ceiling mounting plate. (If you would prefer another colour cable or wire suspension, please just ask).
