French textile factory lights (Type 2)

Stunning run of vintage French prismatic lights by 'Holophane' salvaged from the main spinning room of a textile factory established in 1911 in Tourcoing, Lille, France. The lights were installed during a period of refurbishment and expansion in 1956. Prismatic glass shade embossed 'Holophane France' with polished brass gallery and 400mm stanchion retaining the original factory paint finish containing interesting industrial surface patinas. Supplied with new bayonet (B22) lamp holders, 2mtrs of brass suspension chain, traditional old gold braided cable and ceiling mounting plate.

Chain can be removed and the product suspended directly to the supplied ceiling plate
