Dunlop Aerospace Factory lights. V1

Luminaire Reference: 13_1712

Stunning run of British enamelled pendants salvaged from the Dunlop Aerospace Factory, Coventry, UK. Established in 1920. Extra Large two part vitreous enamelled spun steel reflectors by 'Thorlux' complete with original polished aluminium galleries. Very slight wear to the enamel adds character and emphasises the age of the products.

Supplied with new screw (E27) lamp holders, 2mtrs of industrial steel suspension chain, elephant grey braided cable and ceiling mounting plate.

As with all our products, should you require a different colour cable just let us know.

Dunlop Aerospace Factory, Coventry: A brief history.

At its site in Coventry, Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems designed, developed and manufactured carbon composite brakes, braking systems and lightweight alloy wheels for the aerospace industry. Dunlop has a history in the marketplace stretching back over 100 years and the Aerospace Division formed part of the expanding Dunlop company which originally opened on Holbrook Lane, Coventry in 1920.
