Hand crafted in the Bohemian region of former Czechoslovakia, these 1960s glass wall lights were salvaged from a café in Prague. A cut-glass shade casts a diamond pattern when illuminated with a small profile with big impact. Perfect for hallways, bars and restaurants.
Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

As part of this work we replace original imperial screws with their modern-day metric counterparts and rework their screw ports to take them. We replace the original electrics with brand new, fully certified EN60598 components - this gives you peace of mind, knowing your vintage light is as safe to use as any modern light.
Each light is supplied with a new screw (E27) lamp holder. If you would like an E26 lamp holder (USA), please just ask. Suitable as a wall or ceiling fitting.
