An original Eagle Alusig converted American traffic light mounted on a wooden surveyor's tripod. A polished aluminium enclosure (featuring cast manufacturer's branding), hood and bracket. With a new etched glass screen creating an even diffusion of light when lit.
Lighting design in the U.S.A. benefitted from a free market. Different companies were working at the same time designing and producing similar products for the same market, often with only slight differences in their style. Due to the location we rarely have the opportunity to reclaim and restore light fixtures from the U.S.A., but some of our perennial favourites are the old signal lights that adorned the highways of the midwest. We reconfigure and restore these timeless classics into functional pendant lights, for both residential and commercial use.
