Retro spotted Czech pendants (V1)Era: 1970s Origin: Czechoslovakia (former)
Retro Czech pendant. A decorative spotted cut glass globe with white Bakelite gallery.
Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of the former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.View all lights from Czechoslovakia (former)
Every one of our lights goes through a variety of processes to bring it from the worn and often dilapidated state it arrives in, to a stage where it is ready for your home. From stripping down and rewiring, to applying a finish and sealing the light preventing further degradation to the surface.
Each light is supplied with new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2mtrs of suspension chain, traditional silver braided cable and ceiling mounting plate.
IP20 for internal use only. All dimensions and weights are approximate.

I was very happy with the products I received. They arrived quickly and were packed brilliantly and professionally. There was no way they were going to be damaged in transit.

Their product is invariably beautiful and wonderfully restored. To have lights that have seen so much and then get a second life is inspiring in many ways.
