Dainty 1960s retro glass pendants salvaged from a civic building in Prague, former Czechoslovakia. With a unique jewelled moulded design to the open-bottomed prismatic glass shade. Ideal for suspending in clusters to create a living room feature light, with a striking effect when illuminated.
Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

From stripping down and rewiring, to meticulously reviewing which components can be kept or replaced, we finish by sealing the light to prevent further degradation to the surface - securing their use for many more decades to come.
