Elegant Bauhaus style German factory lights from the 1930s. Comprising a three-part enamelled steel shade and neck with a lacquered steel gallery. Carefully restored by our team the lights show small amounts of wear testament to their heritage.
German designs are famed for their clean lined and well engineered approach. The Bauhaus School played a major role in combining design with engineering during the late 1920s and early 1930s. A number of lights we salvage were influenced by Bauhaus School design. From the mid to late 20th century, Communist East Germany produced a wide variety of lights for both industrial, commercial and residential applications, often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage.

This ensures every light we reclaim lives on to tell its tale: from its original use, to how it came to be salvaged and restored. The next part of the story is up to you.
Each light is supplied new screw (E27) lamp holders, 2mtrs of industrial black steel suspension chain, elephant grey braided cable and ceiling mounting plate. (If you would prefer another colour cable, wire suspension or an E26 lamp holder for use in the USA, please just ask).
