This one-off 1930s ceiling light was salvaged from the Czech Republic and would have once been the central feature pendant within the room. It has a chrome-plated central baluster with three arms and tinted glass shades with an open-top design.
Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of the former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

First, we gently disassemble each light fitting allowing us to spot any flaws and plan how best to bring it up to modern electrical standards. Then, our team of experts patiently restore each component by hand.
The light is supplied rewired and tested with 3no. new screw (E27) lamp holders. If you require E26 for use in the USA please let us know.
