Night clouds on Anglesea

Night-clouds or "Noctilucents' are the highest clouds in the earth's atmosphere (up in the mesosphere for science geeks!) They are very hard to spot and only become visible when the sun is dipped below the horizon.

This lovely film of the 'night-shining' was shot on Anglesea by John Rowlands from the Cloud Appreciation Society
