Join us at Heal’s Festival of Light

skinflint is thrilled to be invited back to Heal’s flagship London store on Tottenham Court Road for its Festival of Light this 11-31 October, a ‘celebration of lighting designs showcasing some of the world’s most striking and contemporary lighting designers’.
With a special display in-store, we’ll be presenting an exciting collection of newly salvaged and restored vintage finds, amongst some of our perennial lighting classics. If you can't join us in London, fear not. The lights will be available to purchase online from heals.com, including some exclusives.
In keeping with this year’s festival theme of British Design, our range for Heal's showcases lights from renowned British manufacturers, including 1950s pendant lights by the General Electric Company salvaged from the aircraft runways of iconic RAF Scampton - home of the Red Arrows and the launch site of the WWII Dambuster Raids. At the more delicate end of the spectrum are decorative glassware pieces salvaged from former Czechoslovakia and more. Each piece comes with its own unique character and story perfect for your interior.
Kicking the festival off, you can join co-founder Chris Miller in conversation with interior design journalist and influencer Kate Watson-Smyth (aka Mad About the House) who will be chairing a panel talk alongside fellow interior design and lighting experts Chris Stimson from BEEM, Sebastian Wrong from Established & Sons, and Charmaine from The White House Interiors. The talk will focus on themes close to our hearts regarding sustainability and the circular economy. Join us on launch night on Monday 11th October from 6pm-9pm with the panel talk taking place at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
For Heal’s Festival of Light and beyond this autumn, we'll be sharing a preview of some of these specially curated lights via link below.
