Lit by skinflint: Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
Even as the days start to get longer and the temperature warms, we’re still feeling the pull of the magical world of Hogwarts. What better way to spend an evening than by the fire watching Newt Scamander and his team go up against Grindelwald once more in the third installment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise?
From snowy landscapes and fire-lit pubs to the warmer climes of Bhutan, our Benjamin substation pendants are neatly nestled in moonlit New York. Lining the storefront next to Jacob’s bakery, their industrial design and angled shade make them the perfect addition to the scene.
Set in the build-up to WWII, tensions are high both in the muggle world and the wizarding world. Walking the line between a cosy watch and dark and gritty cinema, our lights draw together the factory-minded design of the era, whilst adding (we think) a touch of magic to the set.
If you’re looking to find your own magic on set, please get in touch with our prop hire team at prophire@skinflintdesign.com. Our expert knowledge will help you find the right piece for your production with the flick of our wand.
